Guardian of the Home

In ancient Egypt, Bastet was the goddess of the home, of protection, and of the family. She guarded the household against unseen threats - not through force, but through presence.

That is the spirit behind Bastet Home.

We built this product because we grew frustrated with the choices available to parents. On one side: parental control apps that children bypass within a week. On the other: cloud surveillance platforms that read your child’s messages, track their location, and upload their browsing history to a server you do not control. Neither felt right.

Bastet Home is different. It protects every device in your home at the network level - phones, tablets, games consoles, smart TVs - without installing anything on those devices and without sending any data to the cloud. All processing happens locally in your home.

What we believe

Children deserve protection online. They also deserve privacy, dignity, and the trust of their parents. These are not competing values.

Effective parental controls do not require surveillance. They require better technology - technology that works at the network level, that tracks devices by hardware identity rather than IP address, and that enforces healthy digital boundaries without reading private messages or uploading browsing history to third parties.

That is what Bastet Home does.

Built in the UK

Bastet Home is designed and built by a small team in the UK. We are a product of Osiris Consultants Ltd - a technology company whose name, like Bastet’s, comes from ancient Egypt. Osiris, god of the afterlife and renewal, watches over the deeper systems. Bastet guards the home.
